- Candidate must be graduate or post graduate degree in Statistics or Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Economics or Applied Economics or Commercial Economics or Econometrics or Mathematics or Commercial Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Advanced Statistics as the main subject of an educational institution established as a University under Section-3 of Act-1956 should
- Should have passed the examination of computer skills prescribed as per Gujarat Civil Service Computer Efficiency (Training and Examination) Rules, 2006 regarding computer knowledge.
- Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Gujarati/Hindi both languages.
Age limit
- Candidate's age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 37 years as on 16-01-2024. Candidates belonging to reserved category will get relaxation in age limit as per rules.

Salary scale
- 49,600/- for Research Assistant Class-3 for first five years and 40,800/- for Statistic Assistant Class-3 for first five years. Salary as per rules after completion of five years.
Examination Fee
- All the candidates who have selected “General” category while filling the form (except PH and Ex. Servicemen category) have to pay Rs 100/- examination fee and transaction fee as per rules. Reserved category candidates do not have to pay the fee.

website. and thereafter
(2) Click on Apply in “On line Application” and select
GSSSB.
(3) Candidates to apply for the advertisement of
advertisement number:- 226/202324
Click on the ad category name and click on Apply. After that
the option of More Details and Apply now will open on the screen. Clicking on
More Details will show detailed advertisement details. Which candidates should
read.
(4) When clicking on “Apply now” a new window will open. In
which click on "Skip".
Doing so will open the Application Format in which first of
all “Personal Details” must be filled by the candidate. (The details marked

(5) After filling Personal Details “Educational Details”
should be filled.
(6) After that “Assurance” (Guarantee) Select “Yes” to
