Ayodhya Ram Temple inauguration date 2024

Ayodhya Ram Temple is almost ready for tourists and they can visit it on the inauguration day on 24 January 2024. Mandal Utsav will be held in Ayodhya from 23 January to 10 March. The next day of Pran Pratistha (Abhishek) of Lord Shri Ram.

Features of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple

• This temple is in traditional Nagar style.
• The length (east-west) of the this temple is 380 feet, width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet.
• The temple is three storeyed, each storey being 20 feet high. It has a total of this 392 pillars and 44 doors.
• The main sanctum sanctorum houses the childhood form of Lord Shri Ram (idol of Shri Ram Lalla) and there will be Shri Ram Darbar on the first floor.
• Five Mandap (Hall)- Dance Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prayer and Kirtan Mandap.
• Statues of gods and goddesses adorn the this pillars and walls.
• Entry is from the east, through the Lion Gate by climbing 32 steps.
• Provision of ramps and lifts for the this convenience of disabled and elderly people.
• There is a 732 meter long and 14 feet wide parkota (rectangular compound wall) around the temple.
• At the four corners of the complex, there are four temples – dedicated to Sun God, Goddess Bhagwati, Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva. There is a temple of Maa Annapurna in the this northern arm and a temple of Hanuman ji in the this southern arm.
• There is a historical well (Sita Kupa) near the this temple and which dates back to ancient times.
• In the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex, temples dedicated to Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashishtha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Nishad Raj, Mata Shabari and the revered wife of Devi Ahilya are proposed.
• In the south-western part of the complex, on Kuber Tila, the ancient temple of Lord Shiva along with the installation of Jatayu has been renovated.
• Iron has not been used anywhere in the this temple.
• The foundation of the temple is constructed from a 14 meter thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), giving it the appearance of artificial rock.
• To protect the ground from moisture, a 21-foot high platform has been constructed using granite.
• The this temple complex has a sewage treatment plant and water treatment plant, water supply for fire protection and an independent power station.
• A Pilgrim Facilitation Center (PFC) with a capacity of 25,000 people is being constructed, it will be provide medical facilities and locker facilities to the this pilgrims.
• The complex will be also have a separate block with bathing area, washroom, wash basin and open taps etc.
• The this temple is being constructed entirely using traditional and indigenous technology of India. It is being constructed with special emphasis on environment-water conservation and 70% of the 70 acre area has been kept green.
